about me

Hi! I'm Casey (pronouns: he/they.) I'm a queer actor, singer, and composer based in Chicago. This is the cliché part of my introduction where I tell you that I've loved performing and creating art my entire life, and have endless wonderful memories of choir, school plays, and acting out scenes from 1998's The Parent Trap. Click here for a reference.

I received my bachelor's degree in vocal music education from Grand Valley State University in 2019. I feel incredibly grateful for the theatrical opportunities I was able to have in my home state of Michigan, and have enjoyed performing and building a life for myself in Chicago for the past couple of years. Some favorite recent roles of mine include Jack Kelly in Newsies (through Grand Rapids Civic Theatre), Jesus in Godspell (through Grand Valley State's Opera Theatre), and Frank Jr. in Catch Me If You Can (through Surging Films and Theatrics.)

Recently, I have been working on Twihard: The Parody Musical with Otherworld Theatre Company here in Chicago. Find me on-stage as a certain sparkly vampire in February of 2024!

If you'd like to know more about me, my personality, and the kind of person I strive to be, feel free to follow me on Instagram.
